Honestly, Gehrman is a master-class in how to design a solemn and sad final battle with... Probably one of the single most human characters in the dream. Most of who you've faced until now were monsters, or those long-past the breaking point of sanity, Gehrman is just a sad, broken man trying to protect you (and likely the countless hunters before you) by saving you from the dream through the only thing that can save you; death, but at the same time, he's obviously so tired and done with it all, it's almost depressing, the one who wins the fight is the one who dies, as the suffering finally ends. Gehrman is genuinely one of the coolest characters Fromsoft has ever blessed us with.

I love how serrated damage doesn't work on phase 2 anymore amazing touch. Gameplay is telling the story Masterpeice of a boss.

This game established the Moonlight Greatsword better than Bloodborne. Yes, I said it! Even that game had the best lore for the MLGS in all Soulsborne games.

Killing her was the right decision. I mean, really, she just woke up judging from the way she talked when you approached her. She believes herself to be on the Ark at this very moment, yes. But how long before that veil on her eyes is cast away? She already noticed how empty the "Ark" looked. How long before she comes to realise what her condition truely is? Why wait around for that descent into madness to occur? Better to pull the plug and end her than leave her to unravel the threads on her own.
